Now on to the second game I looked at in our first episode, Tennis for Two. There was about a 7 year gap between this game and Nimrod, and I have to say I was impressed just reading about this game. We weren't able to find a version of this game online that really captured what it was in 1958, but I did get to watch a video of it being played. This game was displayed on an oscilloscope, meaning it actually had moving graphics! That coupled with the fact that it had multiplayer and controllers for the players really surprised me. I felt I could easily give this game a 4/10, which is saying a lot for a game from '58. I gave both gameplay and graphics a 2 and a huge 8 for relevance.

It's hard for me to know for certain, but it definitely seems like this had a hand in creating the idea of shared experience and fun through video games. I can imagine people gathering around to compete against their friends in Tennis for Two while it was being displayed just like we do with sports games now. - Wes
